Annual Report 2025

2025 was the year we started to accomplish our mission to make all Barry's work available online. It has been the plan for a number of years and has taken a lot of work behind the scenes. Thank you to all those who helped – most notably our website and archive developer and his helpers, who look after the website and podcasts, and our web designers and social media creators.

The main event was the launch of The Barry Long Archive in August beginning with the release of The Complete Video Collection. This was very popular. It was followed by over 500 hours of audio recordings.

More audios will come online in 2026. We will continue to help you find your way through the Archive, adding more Topic Collections and Content Summaries. 

We are not stopping there. The Article Resource already contains a lot of Barry's writings and more will be added from time to time. We are also working on publishing Barry's books on our website, along with translations.

Look out for a new book coming soon. It's a Barry Long Reader, another project which has been in preparation during recent months. 

Also very popular has been The Barry Long Podcast. There are now about 200 episodes including a free selection. Its most popular platform is YouTube. At the end of the year we released a new podcast offering, called Barry Long Answers. Each episode begins with a direct audience question, followed by Barry's uncompromising response. The series launched on YouTube in December and will be on the major podcast platforms in 2026, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and others.

2025 was also the year we started reaching out more using social media - not just on YouTube but also Instagram. We created the Instagram Channel and uploaded short videos and reels designed to draw a new audience to listen to what Barry has to say.

All in all it was a busy year – a breakthrough year in terms of getting so much more of the work out to a wider public. This has also provided a bit more income – mainly from subscriptions – though the expenses continue to climb, as they do everywhere. Fortunately we received a number of very helpful donations – always welcome! We intend to carry on and do even more in 2026 and as the years go by.
