Fundamental Teaching Part 1

In this first episode Barry Long introduces three fundamental principles: there is only one 'I,' one 'me,' and one life in the universe, all residing within the individual. The talk highlights the importance of living what one knows to be true, addressing emotional pain, and achieving harmony through the realization of being. Practical exercises involve breathing, focusing on inner clarity and feeling, and exploring the depths of one's inner space to find peace and well-being. Barry stresses the need for a shift from superficial consciousness to a deeper, more profound understanding of life. The seminar, titled 'The Truth of Life & Love,' was later made into a tape titled the Fundamental Teaching.

'First of all, this is a practical teaching. It deals with the kitchen sink, the bedroom, the office—utterly practical.'

'Every hurt that I have had since I was a child gathers into a great ball of pain inside of me.'

'My pain pollutes the earth; mood and argument poison the child...'
