Can you handle the truth?

Barry Long invites the audience to take a real look at life — not with theories or beliefs, but with their own experience. The most recurring message throughout is simple but powerful: truth isn’t something to be found in books, opinions, or even spiritual teachings — it has to be felt and lived, right now, in the present moment.

He challenges our usual habits of chasing answers, worrying about the future, or getting stuck in emotional reactions. Instead, he points us back to the quiet goodness already inside us — that deep-down sense of peace we often overlook. This talk is a wake-up call to stop looking outside for solutions and start taking responsibility for our inner life, separating real love from emotional pain, and reconnecting with the body, the senses and the truth that’s already here.

EPISODE NOTES

Extracts from this episode:

'Why are we here? We're here to discover the truth together, the most remarkable thing that man and woman can do, there is nothing else to do but discover the truth together, obviously...'

'Why I am here is to show it to you to demonstrate it in your own experience, so that you can do it when you are not with me. Many teachers tell you the truth, and they are beautiful to be with. But the point is that YOU have to do it...'

'The truth is not here to entertain you. The truth is here purely to free you. The thing that wants to discuss it, understand it, be interested in it, or interpreted is the only burden that you have...'
