The purpose behind the great cycle of life and death is for us to unite with the original intelligence of God, the indescribable inspiration behind everything. To do this we must realise the purest state possible in the inner space of existence which Barry Long describes as realising the reflection of pure intelligence in the purified mirror of the intellect.
To reach this state of perception we must cleanse the mirror, the intellect, of the normal human clutter and clamour.
