Divining the gold within: gratitude as the way

Recording 11 of 12

Using the idea of divining to discover divine love

The talk begins outdoors among birds and insects and moves straight to clarity: the world without rises from the reality within. Divining is reclaimed from prediction and made practical—feel gratitude now, and you divine the gold of divine love.

SUMMARY

The term 'divine/diviner/divination' is unified. Instead of searching for water, metal, or future knowledge, the essential divining is to feel present gratitude and love. By doing so, the listener discovers the 'divine gold'—the truth of God found as one's own love. From here the teaching turns to stress. Stress is not an enemy to be avoided but a necessary vibration that reveals stresslessness; in the very midst of stress a deeper peace is found that the mind cannot believe and may even call madness.

Hearing nature in turmoil models this. A letter about apocalyptic predictions is answered by distinguishing what is 'true for now' from what is eternally true. External events change; the truth does not. Nothing can happen without being determined by the state within. Therefore, be still, be free, do your best, and act only when it is time. When pressed, there are only two clean options: quit or surrender—and neither is possible before its time.
