SUMMARY
In outdoor stillness—clouds, insects, distant neighbours—recent massacres are named not to sensationalise but to show how anger becomes thought and thought becomes mayhem. 'Keep your violence in your stomach': once upset reaches the brain it turns to shouting, depression, or worse. Western life, intoxicated with comfort, therapies, and chatter, knows little of this containment.
Electromagnetic saturation—phones, beeps, radio, television, disc jockeys and phone-ins—is described as a man-made net disturbing the brain. The weaker of the species cannot contain it; madness will increase. The remedy is immediate: end the drug of 'looking forward,' drop anticipation and despair into the body, and be life now. Deja vu is clarified: not a past life, but the past already within as living sensation. Burden is pain not faced. Put rock in the pelvis; let the whole being be crystal, resonant and sweet. Leave the common mind and stand in uncommon presence as man or woman, here and now.
