Purpose in love, partnership, and aloneness

The talk begins by testing whether love, partnership, or solitude truly 'go forward.' Purpose is not external progress but inner rightness: a deepening towards truth. Man's first task in love is to purify himself—habits, anger, moods—so he can take woman deeper into her being. Woman's love draws him inward, but both must guard against losing intelligence in the seductive magnetism of bodies. Purpose is maintained by the power to stand back while giving all. He then unmasks the mind's opposites—good/bad, beauty/ugliness—and shows that God has no opposite; beauty is within and is known by acknowledging only the good. Equilibrium means not moving in elation or depression at praise or blame. Gratitude keeps detachment in work and love. Imagination, angels, and guides are set aside in favour of immediate reality. The movement culminates in 'being' versus 'awareness': consciousness is within, prior to sense-awareness. Seeking enlightenment fails; being natural, innocent, and absent of self succeeds. The power of inaction—the emanation of being—reorganises life without compromise. Questions explore stopping thought, raising children, religious conditioning, sex versus love, pain, and the discovery that all we need is within.
