The World of Spirit: Facing the Unknown
Barry Long describes cosmic consciousness as the simultaneous existence of three worlds—sensory, psychic, and spiritual—each moving at different speeds of perception. True freedom is found in releasing self-consideration and merging into ‘nothing,’ which is the universal consciousness underlying all reality.

SUMMARY
In this talk, Barry looks at 'cosmic consciousness' from two different angles.
First, he approaches it directly through sensation / the sense of sense at the edge of existence: When your intelligence focuses on sensation, it then merges with it and speeds up to its (the sensation's) speed. Sensation then disappears and you are
nothing, knowing nothing, because only in separation you are / know something.
Then, after a period of 'being', Barry takes a different perspective by giving a model of the earth and the universe inside: the space from here to the moon as the subconscious, the moon as the earth's twin planet (that has given its life to the earth),
and the unknown on the other side of the moon. There you first encounter the orbit of the other planets, before you can go beyond the solar
system.
