Symbolism

Everything in existence is symbolic. Symbolic of what? Symbolic of the truth. The difficulty is to see the symbols in life without taking them out of context. Removing a symbol from the whole leads to superstition and attachment to symbols.

An example of this is the way we love or attach ourselves to another human form. The other human form is really only a symbol of our love. But our human compulsion (ignorance) is to love the symbolic and not the truth or source of love beyond it.

Superstition makes symbols personal when in truth they are impersonal; and thus leads to a sort of fearing, self-considering existence which breeds self-doubt.

The impersonal nature of symbols is demonstrated now by the scene immediately before your eyes. This represents where you are in truth.

Can you see it?
