At the heart of science, philosophy and religion is man's attempt to make sense of the infinite, to try to frame conceptually what by its nature must always be beyond conception. It is the infinite which inspires the search of the spiritual seeker: the yearning to realise what to the enlightened is apparently so obvious, and yet to the unenlightened so elusive.
If our existence holds the key to the infinite, it must be both ever present and immediately available. Otherwise it cannot be eternally true. Yet if this is so, how can it be that it is so easily overlooked?
