‘Over these seven days I am going to see the face of you and you are going to see the face of me. That means what we really are and what we are endeavouring to do here. What are you and I doing here? What is the purpose and the profundity of it? Look at how it all holds together – even though it has to split apart – it still comes back together somehow or other. This magnificent existence – it’s just so superbly and supremely incredible. And yet it’s not unbelievable because it’s a fact, isn’t it? You and I are here. And we are truly, truly one and part of this magnificent existence. But what is the meaning of it? What are you and I doing? What is the purpose of you and I, or anyone, being here? For anything that is as magnificent as this has to have a purpose that is demonstrable in your own experience, surely? I speak to your experience and in that way you can know the truth of it.’

This video screening is taken from one of Barry Long’s last public meetings. His communication is immediate, spoken with passion and intensity to the deepest part of you. Over these five days Barry Long reveals the purpose of your life. He speaks of the wisdom in every body and how its purpose is to accrue more self-knowledge through the living process. In your own experience he shows you what self-knowledge is, and that it is nothing less than the God in you.

He addresses the cause of unhappiness, particularly in partnership. He shows how to recognise the difference between love and sex, and how to live the way of divine love, the way of giving. He speaks directly to the self-knowledge that you are – which is now.
