LOCATION
Villa Taika, Antskogintie 513, 10480 Pohja, Finland
Villa Taika is in the village of Antskog, 90 Km west of Helsinki and 4km north of the "art" village of Fiskars (www.fiskarsvillage.net/index_e.htm). Antskog is a very small and quiet village, surrounded by beautiful forests and lakes accessable by walking tracks.
The videos will be shown at the course centre Villa Taika, which is a simple old school building. Accommodation and meals are available in the nearby village of Fiskars.

ACCOMMODATION

Foreigners may inquire at Villa Taika for accommodation at the venue.
Accommodation is also available in the nearby village of Fiskars or slightly further away:
Vanha Meijari is a small Bed and Breakfast in Fiskars. Double room 65 Euro. www.kahvilavanhameijeri.fi/index_eng.html
VilliRuusu is the smallest Bed and Breakfast in Fiskars. Both double rooms cost 65 Euro. www.kolumbus.fi/villiruusu/0_etusivu_int.html
Fiskars Wärdshus is the only hotel in Fiskars. Double rooms 120 Euro. www.wardshus.fi/en
Mustion Linna is a fine old manor house, 15 mins by car. Double room for weekend 110 Euro incl breakfast. www.mustionlinna.fi

Parkvilla B&B is a basic Bed and Breakfast in Fiskars. Double room approx 60 Euro. www.parkvilla-fiskars.com

Camping is free anywhere in nature in Finland. Showers are available at Villa Taika.

MEALS
There are 2 restaurants in the nearby village of Fiskars. Both have a la carte dining in the evening and set lunch deals, including a vegetarian option.
Teas and coffees will be served in the breaks at Villa Taika. There are also several cafetarias in Fiskars.

GETTING THERE
By Car - From Helsinki take the road east (Länsiväylä, 51) towards Hanko for about 45 Minutes or 60 Km. Turn right towards Salo on road 186 and continue for about 25 Minutes. Turn left at the junction where Karjalohja is on your right and Pohja and Fiskars are on your left. You reach Antskog after about 5 mins, Villa Taika is on the second little hill on the left.

By Public Transport - Trains from Helsinki main train station and Pasila leave every hour (www.vr.fi/heo/eng/index.html) for Karjaa. From Karjaa take the bus to Fiskars (www.amper.fi/engelska/timetables.asp) and we can pick you up from there.
This bus company also runs a direct bus service from Helsinki to Fiskars.
You can also take a taxi all the way from Karjaa to Antskog (approx 25 Euro for a large taxi).

By Air - Some of the cheaper airlines to Finland are:
Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) now flies from Frankfurt and London to Tampere, with a connecting bus to Helsinki (busfare 25 Euro).
GermanWings (www.germanwings.com/index.en.shtml) flies from Bonn to Helsinki.
Estonian Air (www.estonian-air.ee) flies to Tallinn (Estonia) from many european cities.
Combined ferry (90 mins) and hotel packages can be booked from several Ferry companies, including www.tallink.fi/en
FlyMe (www.flyme.com/en) flies from Stockholm to Helsinki.
Flysnowflake, also called SAS (www.flysnowflake.com) flies from many European cities.
Blue1 (www.blue1.com/en) flies from many European cities direct to Helsinki.
Airberlin (www.airberlin.com) flies from several European cities to Helsinki.
