LOCATION
North Star Holiday Resort, Hastings Point, New South Wales is in a
beautiful coastal setting with a tidal inlet and beach access, 3 kms
south of Cabarita Beach (where the original Master Sessions were held)
and 3 kms north of Pottsville Beach. 20 kms south of Coolangatta
airport.
The village of Hastings Point is small - it has one service station
(including convenience store), one restaurant and a general store/take
away food shop. Nearby towns of Pottsville Beach and Cabarita Beach
have more shops and restaurants.

By Air
From Coolangatta
Airport you can take a taxi or a bus transfer service to Hastings Point. A taxi to Hastings Point costs approximately $40. Phone
Tweed Taxis 6672 5566 (note that Regent Taxis at airport may
not want to travel out of their area).
Bus transfer services from Coolangatta Airport to Hastings Point are:
- Byron Bay International:
costs $22 and must be booked in advance. www.byronbayshuttle.com.au,

or pay the driver with cash.
- Byron Bay Airporter: costs
$25 for first person, then $10 per person. The bus will meet
flights at Coolangatta airport up to 7.55pm. You must book

From Brisbane Airport

The Coachtrans airporter bus runs to Tweed Heads and does not need to
be booked in advance. The Coachtrans counter is in the arrivals
terminal where you can buy a ticket ($35, or $65 for a return) for the
airporter bus. The bus runs approximately hourly from 6.15am to 11pm.
Get out at Tweed City Shopping Centre (this is as far south as the bus
will go). From there you can take a taxi to Hastings Point. Phone Tweed

- Alternatively you can book in advance
with the Byron Bay International bus transfer service, which
costs $32 from Brisbane Airport to Hastings Point. www.byronbayshuttle.com.au,

- Or you can make
an advance booking with Suncoast Pacific (07) 5443 1011 which
departs from Brisbane Airport only once a day at 9.40am and

By Public Transport
By bus from Tweed Heads: Local Surfside buses run infrequently
from Tweed Heads and cost around $6. Phone Surfside buses

By bus from
Sydney or Brisbane: Greyhound Pioneer has a daily service
to Coolangatta. www.greyhound.com.au,

Hastings Point.
